Social media is a brand new invention and it has taken societal norms by storm. Director, Lauren Palmer, spent her varsity days researching in the fields of history, politics and English where she discovered the dynamic nature of society and how we as humans function depending on the external factors of the time. So when the world of social media landed on her lap she knew that there was something to it.
Shuffle Media was born in a little apartment in Harfield, Cape Town with her roommate and fellow historian, Kath and their two cocker spaniel pups who were climbing the dog influencer ladder on Instagram at the time. Lauren saw the potential here for authentic, personalised, relatable content for businesses and decided to dive head first. She began with one or two clients where she tested her approach in their respective industries and it just clicked. The rest, as they say, is history.
Lauren has been running Shuffle Media for 6 years. In that time she has grown the business substantially and loved every minute of taking on new clients in new industries and totally transforming their business through the powerful tool that is social media.
